Nick Battle’s life has been anything from dull!  From performer to promoter, his life has been wrapped up in the music industry, and the list of people he has worked with compares with the best (Simon Cowell, Gary Barlow, Cliff Richard & Engelbert Humperdink to name but a few).

Yet Nick’s story is that of an ordinary guy in an extraordinary world. It’s a story of love, of loss, of faith and of second chances. Married to Lynn for many years, their life was shattered when she was diagnosed with breast cancer whilst pregnant with their second daughter. Having thought that the battle was won, the cancer returned to claim her life, leaving Nick as a broken single dad to two teenage daughters.

Nick’s story is one that not only gives an insight into the reality of show business, but also tells the very personal and painful tale of an ordinary guy’s battles with loss, grief and the journey to hope and second chances. It’s a story that will make you laugh out loud, and make you cry.
