With after dinner speaker: Kitrina Douglas.

For over a decade Kitrina has been a regular commentator with BBC Radio 5 Live and also worked for Eurosport. An accomplished author, she has a BSc. Honours degree in Exercise and Sport Science and has recently completed a PhD in Psychology investigating motivation, self esteem and well-being. Her most recent research projects have been for The Women’s Sport Foundation, and for UK Sport for whom she has just finished in-depth studies into understanding motivation and persistence in professional golfers. She has also been working with the British Olympic/Paralympic athletes and professionals in rugby and cricket gaining a better understanding of factors that contribute to or detract from peak performance.

Through all of this Kitrina’s Christian faith has been a part of her journey, and she will be sharing some of her experiences, and stories of how her faith has helped her through many changes and challenges.
