Saturday 7 July 2007 Kitrina Douglas will be holding a golf clinic with free coaching, which is open to all. If you are a complete beginner or a frustrated club player Kitrina’s golf clinic can help by advising you on your technique and understanding, which will allow you to compete and feel confident about all areas of the game. Following a most impressive amateur golf record, when Kitrina Douglas turned professional in 1984 she won the first pro tournament she entered, an achievement that had previously been held solely by American Ben Crenshaw. Among her professional tournament wins are two European Masters Championships, the English Open Championship and she was also a member of the first European side to take the Solheim Cup in 1992. Kitrina is a former Director of the Ladies European Tour, and in 2006 the PGA awarded her ‘Master Professional’ status - the youngest professional to receive this award. In the evening, Kitrina will be speaking at a Chinese Banquet held at Fulwood Free Methodist church, Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood, where she will be sharing her life story, experiences and Christian faith. |
