In July 1996 a horrifying incident occurred, not long after the Dunblane massacre, at a small primary school in Wolverhampton, which again left the whole nation stunned in disbelief. As the teachers and parents were clearing up after a Teddy Bear’s Picnic, a man carrying a machete ran into the playground and began to slash out at the children.

Lisa Potts courageously defended the children against the blows of the weapon, receiving many injuries herself in the process but undoubtedly saving the lives of the children. Through her bravery she has won 19 awards and has since become a regular face on television, as well as a writer of 3 books. Lisa, will be joined by Dave Bemment as she talks about how God carried her through her difficult and terrifying experience.
