Here are some helpful hints that we hope will make your use of the podcasts site a little more constructive:
Downloading Podcast Files
You might find that clicking on the download link doesn’t result in the file being downloaded as you might expect.
If your browser has been configured, as most are, to load a program when opening MP3 files clicking on the download link will open that program. This is true on both PC’s and Apple Macintosh computers.
In order to store a file, which is likely to be what you are wanting to do, you need to do one of the following:
- On a PC right-click on the download link
- On a Mac press cmd+click on the download link
You will then be presented with a choice of options on a menu, the option that you need depends on the browser that you are using:
- In Internet Explorer select “Save Target As”
- In Firefox select “Save Link As”
- In Chrome select “Save Link As”
- In Safari select “Download Linked File”
