Morning Series – What would Jesus say about …

 We have got used to seeing people wearing "What would Jesus do" bracelets.  But we need to know what He says before we can live it out. Our morning messages through the Autumn lead us to ask the Gospel of John, "What would Jesus say" about a whole variety of live issues? John's Gospel is deeply spiritual and at times uncomfortable, but we need to hear the challenges it brings so we listen in order to live the Good News it brings.

Evening Series – Major messages from Minor Prophets

During Old Testament times and through a period of several hundred of years a number of prophets emerged. They were marked by the power and skill with which they presented the reality of God and delivered his commands and promises. Most of us keep God on the margins of our lives or refashion Him to suit our own needs or desires. The prophets insist that God is at the centre and that we deal with Him as he shows himself in the ordinary things of life.

As humans we have an enormous capacity for self deceit. We stop ourselves from dealing with the fall out of sin, for facing judgement, for embracing truth. As we investigate the prophets this term they will help us to see, and then live the new life God has for us.
